The town of Hamilton is considered the county seat with a central location. There are just over 4,300 people in Hamilton and the Bitterroot Valley as a whole has around 37,000 people. There are numerous coffee shops, wine bars, grocery stores, fitness centers, unique shopping and plenty of activities for everyone.
Some of the festivals Hamilton offers each year are Daly Days with crafts and vendors and live music. The Bitterroot Valley Brew-Festival is another fun event in Hamilton as well as the Ravalli County Fair and Apple Days just to name a few.
